Essential service for road users

Emergency road service is an essential service for road users, be it car owners, drivers, motorists or passengers of other vehicles. This is not a subscription service, but a mandatory service launched by the local administration in association with a number of stake holders such as emergency medical services unit, emergency response unit, local transport authority, local police and county administration, hospital and health services and traffic management department. Under this service, the speedways and motorways are constantly monitored through remote surveillance system by the police. This is to ensure the roads are free from hurdles and traffic jams. As soon as a traffic jam is reported, the authorities concerned will be sent to the location concerned to bail the vehicle owner out of distress.

If there is a pile up of vehicles on the road on account of accidents, the vehicles involved in the mishap will be cleared to help smooth movement of the rest of the vehicles. If there are any injured victims of accident, they will be taken to the nearest hospital by the emergency response unit. If required, the injured will even be airlifted from the scene. Road users need not pay any extra duty to subscriber to emergency road service.
