My roadside assistance coverage comes with state of the art technology, which utilizes GPS technology to track my every position. So when I find myself in trouble or in need of roadside assistance, all I have to do is push a button to trigger my GPS alert. Modern technology also allows the roadside assistance service provider to contact me in my car even without my cell phone. How? In addition to GPS tracking, my car is also fitted with wireless phone technology that allows the people at the service center to speak to me in the car. By this method, they can get an idea of what the problem is before they arrive so that they would be better prepared to deal with the issue, or they can simply talk me through any minor glitches that I may have. Now tell me if this isn’t the life to live!
Â
Fortunately for me, and unfortunately for the mass majority out there, my car is a new car straight off the manufacturer’s line. This means that this new technology would have been installed in my car by the time of its production allowing for a more convenient roadside assistance approach. For the older cars though, even if brand new off the company’s shelves, this feature would most likely not have been available to them.Â

Road service refers to the services provided by registered firms to drivers, travelers and car owners whenever their vehicles suffer mechanical breakdown while on journey.
Â
There are a number of firms that engage in road service. Most of them have relationships with auto warranty firms. Consequently, auto warranty comes with a special service that includes road service also. Therefore, it is better for regular commuters to choose auto warranties with road service.
Â
Apart from auto warranty firms, there a number of agencies that specializes in road service. If you are not happy with a particular road service agency, you always enjoy the freedom to change it.
Â
The road service firms offer services such as repairs in case the vehicle suffers breakdown, including mechanical fault or engine failure while driving. In case the firm is unable to repair the vehicle on the spot due to complications, it will tow the vehicle to the nearest service center. These road service firms are available through their hotline numbers.
Â
Other services offered by the road service firm include flat tire assistance, fuel and fluid delivery, towing services and assisting hassle-free journey. If the car owner has to break journey to get the vehicle repaired, the road service firm will book the necessary accommodation at the nearest hotel.

No one understands more clearly than a woman does the importance of roadside service. Of the hundreds of women who drive alone every day, only they can understand the dangers that await them at every traffic light, every lonely intersection, or any deserted road. Face it, not everyone can afford to keep their cars maintained at 100% at all times. There would be the days when a tire blows, or when the gas runs out, or when the car just refuses to go any further. You pray that this doesn’t happen when you are alone or on a lonely road or in an unsafe neighborhood. Worst yet, you pray that this doesn’t happen to you when your phone doesn’t have any service or when your toddler is asleep in the back seat of the car.
Â
Regardless of how alert you are of your surroundings, strange vehicles shadowing your every move, or of suspicious individuals lurking at the traffic signals on lonely intersections, there would come the day when you miss just one minor detail and you pray that when that day comes, there is at least one person that can come to your immediate assistance. Every woman knows the reassurance of knowing that this assistance is just minutes away on a toll free number which connects you directly to roadside service assistance.

Most people tend to think of road service assistance as simply a towing service. But of the many the road service programs and services offered across the nation’s many roadways, it is important to find one that offers a range of services that would be worth the cost of the program. After all, how often does one really need tow truck or towing assistance?
Â
When investing in road service programs, look for one that is easy to reach in times of emergencies, in addition to one that covers you in most, if not all, states or areas of your country. It would be a shame to have invested in such a service and call for assistance only to be told you are out of their service area!
Â
It is also important that you find out the extra costs associated with your road service program. It can be very possible that even after paying all your monthly premiums, when the time comes that you need to cash in on your roadside assistance, you are told that you would be charged additionally for the assistance. Then what is the point!
Â
Also equally important in all road service programs is getting the best for your money. Roadside assistance should include emergency fuel dispensations, fluid changes in times of overheating, tire changes, even battery jump starts and locksmith services. Only in the final scenario should towing be considered as an option if your vehicle cannot be started on its own or if it is deemed not safe to drive.

Road service is a special assistance program provided to the car owners at the time when they are stuck on road due to serious problems in their vehicles. This assistance is provided to all vehicle owners that have purchased this program. It is effective whether they are driving a car, scooter, motorcycle or any heavy vehicle like truck or trolley.Â
Â
The service is very useful at the time when a person is left helpless on the road, as no nearby repair service is available. These services include repair services, such as flat tire change, emergency lock-out service, motel accommodation, towing to repair station, etc. These services are very quick and reach in a short span of time. The service providers come well equipped with the necessary tools and gears for repairing the vehicle.
Â
In case of serious damages, the car can be towed to a nearby repair facility or even to your home. The services also include assisting the bicycles right at the spot by placing the gear chains back again in case they have slipped from their circumference.
Â
To choose a roadside service, you can get registered with the reputed service provider company through its websites and become a member. So, just get the membership cards and be tension free. Â

It sounded hilarious to me when I heard about this for the first time, but it is quite true – you can now buy road service for your bike! The fact is road service assistance has been broadened in most recent times to include not only cars and other four-wheeled vehicles, but also motorbikes and even bicycles!
Â
What exactly does road service assistance for bicycles mean? As with auto coverage, bicycle coverage can be designed around the provider that offers the service. Basically though, one would expect any bicycle coverage to revolve around tire blow-out coverage. Even lockout coverage can be considered a viable road service option to enlist under the coverage policy. After all, for a person who takes his bike seriously, all coverage is good coverage!Â
Â
Even you will be amused to know that each member of your family can be covered on bicycle assistance! So the next time you take your bike out for a ride up on your favorite trail, remember that bicycle assistance is just a phone call away! In fact, the next time you decide take your bike out on the trail; remember to cycle with the confidence and assurance of a man who knows that he is covered by his bicycle road service assistance program!

Any car owner, especially those who often travel on freeways should enroll themselves for roadside service.
Â
Road service refers to many types of assistance rendered by a private agency to the car owner in the event of a breakdown or mechanical failure on the road. There are a number of agencies that specialize in this service. It is easy to locate such services since the companies have connections with car dealers, including used car sellers.
Â
There are many advantages of opting for a road service contract. If the car breaks down, call the hotline of the road service provider. A team of mechanics will arrive shortly and check the vehicle for defects. If the mechanical failure can be repaired on the spot, it will be done. However, if the team finds that the car can be repaired only at the workshop, it will be towed without levying any charges. This service is available around the clock.
Â
Always opt for a reputed road service provider, particularly those recommended by the car dealers. Sometimes, the road service comes as part of an auto warranty package. So while purchasing an original auto warranty package or a used car auto warranty package, make sure road service is part of the service offered by the company.

Have your car ever been stalled at ten in the evening on what you think is the loneliest road possible? Have you ever tried getting people to give you a tow or even stop to give you the time of the day on a stormy night in what could only be the worst slum in the city? It’s times like these that you realize the importance of roadside assistance in your car.
Â
On that stormy night in the middle of nowhere I remembered my roadside assistance card and called for immediate help, and within fifteen minutes uniformed officials were standing outside my car with umbrellas, a tow truck and a very experienced team to solve my problem! I firmly believe that roadside assistance is one of the worthiest investments any person who owns or drives a car can make.Â

One of the most crucial topics involved in driving safety is how safe child safety seats really are. Parents are, hopefully, highly motivated to drive as alert and careful as possible when infants and children are passengers. But very careful driving habits can’t always prevent an accident. To offer extra protection for infants and children riding in a car, safety seats are available and insisted upon by the law.
A recent report released by Consumer Reports stated that not many of the common child safety seats that parents were using were standing up to their crash tests. Much to the relief of disturbed parents, the company then admitted to mistakes made in the testing and a false report of unsafe safety seats. This ordeal has brought back to the forefront a safety issue very important to the government, automakers, child safety seat providers, and especially families.
Edmunds.com offers a review of the Consume Reports incident that concerned parents can use as a guideline to what the overall results have shown. The important objective for parents is to continue to purchase and properly secure child safety seats that are accredited. Being a safe driver and practicing cautious driving principles are also the best way to keep you and your child protected from death or injury on the highway.

Before you go driving, it is always a good habit to check the car first. Firstly check the coolant water level –make sure the cap is cool enough for you to open-, oil spill underneath your car, the tire air pressure, headlamps, signals, etc.
Â
Driving safely is not only for other people’s sake but also for your sake. Driving with a broken brake lamp would prove dangerous as the driver behind you can’t see the signal you braking the car, and if he/she moves fast enough he/she won’t have the time to brake accordingly. Without a working horn you can’t warn pedestrian, without working signals you can’t warn other vehicles that you are going to make a turn.
Â
Make sure to use seat belts at all times even for passengers, remember, there are laws for seat belts in most cities. But it’s also an effective means –besides airbag- to protect you should an accident occurred. Use the mirrors and rearview to know what is going on around you, for instance if you’re going to stop or slowing down by checking the rearview and touching on the brake will avoid you from an unnecessary traffic collision. Start your drive safety habits early.
Â
Enjoy a stress free drive by availing efficient road services.
