How much did your roadside assistance cost?

Roadside assistance is a service that provides drivers access to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Whether it’s a blown tire, a leaky radiator gone bad, locked yourself out of your car or you forgot to top up the gas tank before an eighteen hour trip across the state, you can be sure that roadside assistance will hear you calls.  Indeed, roadside assistance is the only assistance that you can depend on to reach you when no one else can.

Unfortunately for most owners of new or used vehicle, they find themselves paying additional costs, sometimes exorbitantly high, for this very convenient roadside assistance program.  Even worse, they do so unaware of the extra cost that they are paying; happily unaware that they are already covered alongside their own manufacturer’s warranty or aftermarket warranty (which in itself was an additional charge added the vehicle purchase price!).  It is true, most (but not all – ask your dealer) vehicles when purchased with one type of service warranty or another, includes free roadside assistance.  That means free towing services, free lockout services, free gas re-fills – free roadside assistance!
