Alternative Ways of Getting Emergency Road Services

Emergency Road Service is a must for any driver on the road. It’s a great help in times of distress. We realize its importance only when we have a car break down in the middle of the night and miles away from home. However, if you find the regular road service providers a bit too costly for you, then here are a number of other options that you can consider for getting emergency roadside help:
Cell phone companies: Cell phone companies are now offering emergency road services as well. Companies like Verizon offer emergency road help at a monthly basis at very low prices starting around $3 per month.
- Insurance companies: A number of insurance companies have tied up with road side service providers and give you a packaged deal on getting emergency roadside service along with your regular auto insurance.
- Car Dealers: Car dealers also offer emergency roadside service with the package when you are buying a new car in order to make their offering look better than the competitors. Many dealers offer roadside assistance for a number of years, so if you are buying a new car, you might want to buy it from a dealer who gives you free roadside assistance.
