Some auto road service plans offer benefits that could prove to be quite helpful when you are in need of emergency roadside assistance. For an additional fee, Better World Club will actually provide road service even when you’re on your bicycle.  The Allstate Motor Club, one of the most expensive programs in the country also has coverage for your motorcycle or recreational vehicle. 

If you are worried about getting taken by a bad repair shop if you break down far from your home, some plans like BP Road­side Assistance, another costly provider will reimburse you if you have to redo any auto repair that fails again within six months of its original repair date. The twist to this program is that you must use one of BP Road­side Assistance pre-authorized shops that are more than 50 miles from your home. 

AARP has a plan that provides up to $1,000.00 toward your legal defense if you get a speeding ticket.  This plan also guarantees the payment of up to $1,000.00 to any hospital’s emergency room as long as you are at least 100 miles from your home. 

GM Motor Club has a plan that offers a reimbursement program if you need to arrange services when their plan can’t find anyone to help you in a reasonable amount of time.  Of course, this should never happen with the provider that has enough contractors nationwide to serve their members.
