Roadside Assistance Eases Fear Caused By Vehicle Breakdowns

Motorists that travel alone are fearful of their vehicles breaking down. This is no surprise considering that in today’s times, motorists are spending more time in their vehicles. People drive long distances to and from work and are constantly running errands. The occurrence of a vehicle breakdown at some point in a motorist’s life is inevitable. Both male and female motorists fear vehicle breakdowns.

The results of a survey done by Britannia Rescue showed that approximately two-thirds of the female and male drivers that were interviewed were fearful of being by themselves at the time of a vehicle breakdown.

The numbers were broken down into 45 percent of men and 93 percent of women being fearful of vehicle breakdowns. The results of the survey also showed that more motorists are fearful of a stranger stopping and offering them help. 75 percent of women do not want a male stranger to stop and offer them help.

In order to ease the fear caused by vehicle breakdowns, motorists can prepare themselves for breakdowns by signing up with a roadside assistance program ahead of time. Roadside assistance is very useful because if motorists find themselves stranded on the side of the result due to their vehicle breaking down, professional and reliable assistance will be sent to help them.
