Roadside Assistance Can Help Alleviate The Fear Of A Vehicle Breakdown

Motorists that have to travel by themselves fear vehicle breakdowns. This is not surprising taking into consideration the fact that, today, motorists are spending more and more time in the vehicles. People are driving longer distances to get to work and running more errands than ever before. This makes a vehicle breakdown inevitable at some point. Both female and male drivers are fearful of vehicle breakdowns.

According to a survey done by Britannia Rescue, about two-thirds of the male and female drivers that were interviewed are scared of being alone during a vehicle breakdown.

The numbers are broken down into 93% of women and 45% of men are scared of experiencing a breakdown. The survey results also showed that more motorists are scared of a stranger stopping to help them. 75% of women do not want a male stranger to stop and offer assistance.

In order to alleviate the fear and stress associated with a vehicle breakdown, motorists can prepare for one by signing up with a roadside assistance program. A roadside assistance program is useful because if you experience a breakdown, reliable and professional help will come to your aid.
