My Car Died In The Alley
January 7th, 2008 by Hal Moses
When my Ford died, it couldn’t call for help itself so instead it refused to move. Unfortunately once it refused I couldn’t even back out of my driveway. I put the car in drive, it rolled 10 feet and seemed to slam on its own brakes. It turned out that the car wasn’t dead but I just wouldn’t move. The wheels just spun in the alley’s deep snow.
It was then that I wished I had belonged to an auto road service program. If I had I could have just called from my cell and they would have come to my rescue. One of the roadside benefits offered by these emergency roadside assistance companies is vehicle extraction. Oh well, I’ll know better for next time.
