According to the Charlotte Observer an 18-year-old was raped at gunpoint Friday morning after stopping to check her flat tire.  According to Salisbury police the attack occurred just after midnight.

The woman stopped in the parking lot of J.C. Price’s American Legion Post to fix her flat tire. She told police that a man stopped and offered to help her but instead forced her into her car. Lt. Mike Dummett said the victim was raped and then let go.
